Alli Celebron-Brown joined Women’s Impact Fund in 2015 and served as a member of the Spark Initiative Team, Community Impact Committee, and on the Communications & Marketing Committee. She is engaged in the community as a board member of the YMCA of Greater Charlotte and the Third Sector Leadership Program, and is a graduate of CBI’s Leadership Development Initiative and the American Leadership Forum. Alli is the President + CEO of McColl Center for Art + Innovation and previously worked at Foundation For The Carolinas.
 
Anne Perper

Anne Perper joined Women’s Impact Fund in 2014 and served as a member of a grants committee each year and twice served as Education Grants co-Lead. She is engaged in the community with Youth Homes (past board member), Charlotte Repertory Theater, Communities in Schools and Head of Charlotte Country Day’s Parent Association. After years in the private sector as a banker, consultant and teacher, she now manages a small family foundation and serves on GreenLight Charlotte’s Selection Advisory Committee.

Arrington Mixon joined Women’s Impact Fund in 2005 and served as Board Chair, Finance Committee Chair, Membership Committee Chair, Grants Environment Team Co-Chair, and a member of the Community Impact Committee. She is engaged in the community with Billingsville Elementary School (Tutor Charlotte reading mentor), Rama Road Elementary School (tutor and mentor), Christ Episcopal Church (outreach, leadership and strategic planning), Foundation For The Carolinas (investment committee), Children’s Theatre Charlotte (past board chair). She retired after working as a Senior Program Officer with The Leon Levine Foundation.

Claire Samuels joined Women’s Impact Fund in 2014 and served as Member Recruitment Team Chair and as a member of several committees. She is engaged in the community with the Jamie Kimble Foundation for Courage (Board of Directors), the Mecklenburg County Bar Foundation (Board of Directors) and the Charlotte Community Leadership Council for the Children’s Home Society of North Carolina and as a member of Good Friends Charlotte. Claire is a partner at James, McElroy & Diehl, P.A practicing family law.

Ellen Rankin joined Women’s Impact Fund in 2012 and served as Development Committee Chair, Human Services Grants Team Co-Lead, and member of several committees. She is engaged in the community with Good Friends (Board of Directors) and the YWCA Endowment Board and as a Sustainer in the Junior League of Charlotte. Ellen is a Financial Advisor and Portfolio Manager with Rankin Wealth Management at UBS.

Jean Brinkmann joined Women’s Impact Fund in 2014 and served twice as Education Grants Team Co-Lead and as a member of that grant committee. She is engaged in the community with Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region (past board member), the Augustine Literacy Project (volunteer) and the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (volunteer). Jean is an executive advisor after a long career in banking.

Jhaymee Tynan joined Women’s Impact Fund in 2016 and served on the Grants, Strategic Planning, and Finance Committees. She is engaged in the community with Greater Charlotte Healthcare Executives Group (board member), the Carolinas Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development, and the Historic Belmont Foundation. She is the Director of Strategy Management and Integration with Atrium Health.

Katie Susong joined Women’s Impact Fund in 2014 and served as Audit Chair, Events & Logistics Chair, and as a member on several committees. She was engaged in the community previously with Make-A-Wish (volunteer), Alexander Youth Network (volunteer) and Levine Children’s Hospital. She is a member of Leadership Charlotte Class 37. Katie does derivative accounting and reporting for Wells Fargo.

She is engaged in the community as a volunteer or Board member with the Urban Ministry Center, The Symphony Guild, Hornets’ Nest Girl Scouts Council, and Myers Park United Methodist Church. Lea is an attorney with Moore & Van Allen.

Liana Humphrey joined Women’s Impact Fund in 2016 and served on the Arts & Culture Grants Team, including two years as co-Lead. She is engaged in the community with Goodyear Arts (board member), First Presbyterian Church, and the Fuqua Charlotte Alumni Committee. Liana is the Chief Marketing Officer for Crisis Assistance Ministry.

She is engaged in the community with the Charlotte Women’s Commission Advisory Board (member), the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys (past board member) and the Charlotte Women’s Political Caucus and Christ Church.

Lisa Miller joined Women’s Impact Fund in 2010 and served as Incoming Board Chair, Grants Chair, Grants Human Services and Health Team lead, and as a member of the Grants Task Force, Community Impact, Development, and Strategic Planning committees. She developed and led the Nonprofit Board Leadership training program. Lisa is engaged in the community with Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy (board member), and Charlotte Community Health Center (past board member) and a proud member of CBI’s Leadership Development Initiative Class 18. Lisa is a retired litigation attorney.

Markita Payne joined Women's Impact Fund in 2016 and served on the Finance, Community Impact, and Strategic Planning Committee and as Incoming Chair of the Community Impact Committee. She served as the Strategic Planning Committee Chair last year and will continue in this capacity during the 2019-2020 year. She is engaged in the community with Safe Alliance, National Association of Female Executives, and Black Data Processing Association. Markita is a Senior Program Manager within the Retail Financial Services division at TIAA.

Molly Shaw joined Women’s Impact Fund in 2008 and served as Member Education Chair and on the Grants Committee. She is engaged in the community with Trinity Episcopal School (Board of Directors), ROC Charlotte and is active on the Mecklenburg County Early Childhood Education Executive Committee. Molly has delivered talks locally and nationally on topics including economic mobility, national educational trends and local solutions, cradle to career success and leadership. She is the President and CEO of Communities In Schools Charlotte

She is engaged in the community with CareRing’s Nurse Family Partnership (community advisory board), Smart Start of Mecklenburg County (past board member), and the Mecklenburg County Bar Foundation’s Grants Committee. Pearlynn is an attorney at Robinson Bradshaw.

Taryn is the Managing Director of Marketing & Customer Engagement for Duke Energy.
