$40,000 to to facilitate programs and intercultural relationships that promote self-sufficiency and enrich our community. RSS provides humanitarian services to approximately 650 refugees annually and engages 250 volunteers. They are the only post-resettlement agency in the Charlotte region serving individuals from over 15 countries deemed refugees by the UN after the resettlement service providers have exited their government-mandated services. RSS collaborates with several local organizations and agencies and is very intentional in ensuring that as many services as possible are not duplicated. When services do not exist, RSS builds programs to fill the gap.
