This summer, Women’s Impact Fund is partnering with Davidson College’s Non-Profit Leadership Program to host our first summer intern. We are thrilled to welcome Sydney Simmons to WIF from June 1 through July 24, 2020. Please join us in welcoming Sydney!

“To introduce myself, I am a rising senior biology major from Atlanta, Georgia. At Davidson, I am a member of the Women’s Soccer Team, Connor Eating House, and the Black Student Coalition. I am also the treasurer for the Special Olympics Club and the Skin Cancer Prevention and Awareness Committee. I work as a student tutor in the Speaking Center and as a front desk attendant at Baker Sports Complex. I enjoy going to the beach, baking, watching movies, playing with my dog, and spending time with friends and family. This summer I look forward to dedicating myself to this internship and learning about the incredible ways that Women’s Impact Fund has served and is serving the Charlotte Mecklenburg community.”
