Varsha shares what motivates her to achieve her own goals!

Can you provide a brief background on yourself for those who do not know you?
I am a virtual relationship and dating coach and help singles and couples find and keep healthy, passionate and happy relationships. It is especially important to me that people avoid settling and trust in support structures. Before coaching I owned and operated a healthcare management company and practiced law and mediation. My husband and I moved to Charlotte for his work six years ago and loved it immediately. We also just moved to a new home. I love travel adventures and a great luxury handbag.

What makes our purpose or mission meaningful to you?
Finding community in giving has been one of the most beautiful things in my life which was initially taught to me by my parents. Learning about my city through WIF has been very rewarding.  Collective giving means more impact, faster. That can never be overlooked.

What energizes/ motivates you? It can be anything from a quotation, a song, a person, workout routine etc.
I am motivated by other women who have already achieved my goals. When I’m around them or I see them, I learn so much and I feel the urge to keep going.

What are you the most excited about for the upcoming year?
I love to see what the Spark Grant does for small organizations that have big dreams. Personally, I look forward to more travel which is my favorite thing to do.

Advice to make the most out of your Women’s Impact Fund membership?
Read the newsletters and go to Lunch & Learn events. I learned a lot from grants committee, too.

What is your favorite restaurant or activity in Charlotte?
My favorite restaurant is Yume for the Omakase counter.
