The Independent Picture House’s mission is to educate, engage, and enable individuals through the powerful medium of film. The Independent Picture House accomplishes its mission with programming that includes the Charlotte Film Festival, Indie on Wheels (a free community outreach program) and its Community Impact Film Series highlighting community issues including mental health, women’s health, immigration, environment and homelessness. Independent Picture House received an Opportunity Grant of $8,000.
