The Relatives’ mission is to keep kids safe, families together, and to prepare youth and young adults to be healthy, productive, and engaged members of the community. The Relatives accomplishes its mission by providing a full continuum of care for our county’s vulnerable youth and young adults (7-24). This continuum of care includes its On Ramp Resource Center which supports young adults ages 16-24, its Youth Crisis Center which supports homeless and runaway children ages 7-17, its Housing Program serving homeless youth 18-24, and its role as the Designated Safe Place agency for Mecklenburg County. The Relatives received an Impact Grant of $61,350.
