$50,000 to help prepare Spanish-speaking children for success in school and life by providing superior dual language early childhood education. The preschool supports students’ families with parenting, life skills, and English-language classes. During COVID-19, the organization continues to serve its more than 400 families through remote learning, meal delivery, and other basic needs. In 2015 the school expanded into a new location and in 2018 rebuilt the art studio as an independent space. In 2019, 99% of Preschool Program children improved their English language skills and 63% showed statistically significant social-emotional improvement. A study done of CLT Bilingual Preschool’s graduates concluded that their children maintain consistent growth and advantage through second grade.
