$75,000 for a full-time Health Educator and part-time R.N. to educate low-income, uninsured residents living with, or at high risk for, diabetes or cardiovascular problems. The health educator stayed on for seven years and taught classroom classes as well as helped bring education into the exam rooms. Due to a move and loss of classroom space, Charlotte Community Health Clinic now focuses their education efforts on the exam rooms.
