$75,000 to support Raising a Reader, an early reading program serving low-income children in local area child care centers. This program also teaches parents how to “book cuddle” and read with their children even if they themselves cannot read. This program continues to serve children in licensed childcare programs. Participants have highlighted how the program has fostered a love for reading in their children.
