$25,000 to support the creation of free, online summer camps in both rock and film including virtual workshops addressing racism and social justice. Rock Camp provides six weeks of content for virtual campers with three tracks featuring music, art/do it yourself, and social justice. Film Camp is four weeks and teaches participants how to make a short film with a phone while also featuring diverse filmmakers. Film Camp has weekly Zoom meetings with a diverse group of women/gender non-conforming filmmakers, inspiring the next generation. The organization has created videos, activities and online content, which it will continue to adapt for virtual engagement throughout 2020 and into 2021.
