$90,000 for a full-time registered nurse focused on chronic health conditions and education for women and children staying at the Salvation Army Center of Hope. Shelter Health Services has expanded their testing, education, and care to 18 chronic conditions. They now also provide extended care so that women can continue receiving medication after they leave the shelter, addressing health as a barrier to steady employment and housing.
