$70,000 to support its Families Doing Time Program. The program serves to reduce intergenerational incarceration, improve parental engagement, and help children/families achieve self sufficiency. The Center for Community Transitions has helped over 800 men, women, and children through this program. The grant allowed them to expand their Families Doing Time program, expand their EKWIP program into four more schools totaling 18, and launch their Enrichment Institute. In addition, with their extra staff member, they were able to expand their reach within the Hispanic population.
