Stories of Impact: Community Impact Committee

One of the most important parts of WIF is our relationship with our nonprofit partners (NPPs). This effort is spearheaded by the Community Impact Committee (CIC), which works diligently with NPPs in their active grant years to be the voice of the NPP within WIF.

This year, CIC is introducing a new committee format to maximize our impact with NPPs. This format will use the roles of Relationship Managers and the Community Connect Group to engage with our NPPs and create a true partnership. Relationship managers will meet with NPPs to discuss their needs and provide feedback to the WIF community. Meanwhile, the Community Connect Group will coordinate how we respond to those needs. This may include attending their events and fundraisers, volunteering, or supporting them on social media.

As CIC continues to build relationships with our NPPs over the year, the WIF newsletter will highlight each NPP through a Story of Impact article. Watch for updates on how you can support our NPPs this year.
